Before I begin, I am NOT a genwunner. Just thought i'd clear that up.
Alright, so the new Pokemon games were announced today. Everyone who's obviously played it went insane with fangasms and crying with happiness that Pokemon is in 3D.
Well, not me...
It seems like they're turning EVERYTHING to Nintendo's newest products (obviously to get more money) so they literally keelhaul their old consoles, like the DS and the Wii. (regarding the WiiU.) I thought that Pokemon B/W2 was gonna be a 3D game, and I was ecstatic when I realised it wasn't. I don't want to spend £200 on a 3DS just to play one game. If Pokemon Y/X were standard DS games, but still with the 3D graphics, it would still be compatible with the 3DS, making everybody happy. But nope, we have to all go out and buy a 3DS to experience more realistic pokemon gameplay.
This just annoys me so much, since until I get a 3DS (which will be in years to come or probably never) I'll have to download pointless japanese emulators and look for spoilers on Bulbapedia. So I'm really annoyed right now... and I honestly think (dare I say it) that Pokemon is taking a turn for the worse.
That's only what I think for the anime, don't think i'm a pokemon hater suddenly, but the anime has gone a bit downhill, and the games piss off people that don't own a 3DS.
